Meet the Dental Team River Ridge

Jodi – Receptionist

Jodi has been a member of our practice for more than 25 great years now. She attended college at Our Lady of Holy Cross and the University of New Orleans. Additionally, she’s undergone X-ray certification at Louisiana State University and pursued continuing education at the New Orleans Dental Conference and Las Vegas Conference. Originally from River Ridge, she’s happy to serve the community she’s lived in her whole life and help patients smile!

Jodi has two children, and in her free time, she enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and going on road trips with family.

Rebecca – Insurance Coordinator/ Receptionist

Originally from Saint Rose, Rebecca has been with our team for more than a decade now. She attended the University of New Orleans. Her favorite part of her job is getting to work alongside such great and talented coworkers.

As a Louisiana native, Rebecca and her husband have three daughters and one cat. One of her favorite pastimes is traveling! In the past, she’s visited Northern Ireland, Scotland, Honduras, and France.

Holly – Dental Hygienist

Holly is originally from River Ridge and has over 20 years of experience working in dentistry. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi before moving on to attend the Louisiana State University Dental Hygiene School and has undergone additional training in anesthesia. Inspired to go into dentistry by her own childhood dentist, her favorite part of her job is being able to help patients improve their smiles!

Holly is married and has two children. Outside of work, you’ll often find them at their camp in Mississippi, going fishing and spending time in the river.

Alicia – Dental Hygienist

With 5+ years at our practice and over two decades of experience in the world of dentistry, Alicia is an important part of our team! In addition to completing her studies at the University of New Orleans and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, she is certified in local anesthesia and a past president of the New Orleans Dental Hygienists’ Association. When asked about her favorite part of her job, she shared that it’s educating people about the mouth-body connection and how it can boost their overall health.

Alicia has been married for more than 25 years and has two sons. Active empty nesters, they like to go dancing, play beach volleyball, and do anything that involves being outdoors.

Lisa – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

Born and raised in Kenner, Lisa completed her studies at Delgado and Blue Cliff College. Now, she loves getting to know each of our patients and helping them curb any dental anxiety. In fact, it’s her favorite part of her job! Away from the office, you’ll most likely find her making memories with her husband and two boys.

Chantelle - Dental Hygienist

Chantelle brings over 30 years of dental experience to our practice, and nothing makes her happier than catching up with a returning patient and seeing how much their oral health has improved since their last visit. A graduate of the LSU School of Dentistry, she is married with two children and a goldendoodle. If it were up to her, every moment outside of work would be spent at the beach with her family.

Gillian - Dental Hygienist

A proud LSU graduate, Gillian believes that every patient has an interesting story to tell, and she wants to hear all of them! Originally from The Northshore, she’s married with two dogs that she considers her children. When she’s not taking care of patients, she’s exercising, traveling with her dogs, or painting—she especially loves making art of animals!

Jessica - Dental Hygienist

Since earning her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from LSU, Jessica has helped countless patients achieve a healthier smile and peace of mind when it comes to their oral health. Coming to us from Saint Rose, she is happily married with a smart and sweet little boy, an adventurous and happy little girl, and a third bundle of joy on the way! On the weekends, there’s nothing she’d rather do than be with family OR take on a good home DIY project.

Jill - Dental Hygienist

Jill attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX and says it’s the people that truly make our practice special, referring to both our patients and fellow team members! She’s currently the Secretary of the New Orleans Dental Hygienists’ Association and loves to travel, play pickleball, go to concerts, and enjoy the vibrant dining scene. Fun fact—she’s never had a cavity!

Jolie - Dental Hygienist

Jolie joined us in 2025 and brings over a decade of experience to our practice. She began her career as a dental assistant before going on to graduate from the LSU School of Dentistry with her hygiene degree. Life at home is delightfully busy for Jolie and her husband thanks to their young son, Rafe, and boxer fur baby, Ivory. Their favorite thing to do together as a family is visit Disney World, which they manage to do at least once a year.

Shay - Expanded Duty Dental Assistant

Shay loves interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable to help take away the fear and stress of going to the dentist. She attended Delgado Community College and Unitech Training Academy on the way to earning her Expanded Duty certification. When she isn’t having a great time with her three nieces, her favorite place to be is a new restaurant or coffee shop. Fun fact—Shay can speak, read, and write in Arabic!
